We have most of the technology at hand, with other technology in the research and the developmental stage but we do need to adopt these global warming solutions before it is too late.
The key to global warming solutions is to move away from fossil fuels and greenhouse gases. We can no longer have greenhouse gases lingering in our atmosphere and heating up the planet, Many scientists are pushing toward utilizing more renewable energy sources such as: wind, solar, geothermal, and bioenergy.
Many environmental experts are pointing toward wind power as one of the global warming solutions. Wind power has zero emission levels and is very cost effective. Wind turbine blades installed on major buildings will harness a good portion of energy needed to service them. Wind turbines is a “zero emission” global warming solution that can reduce up to 11 to 15 percent of greenhouse gas emissions in a large complex when combined with traditional energy sources.
Bahrain is the first nation to integrate wind turbine blades in combination with traditional energy sources at their The World Trade Center. They have three wind turbine blades installed on the building.
Presently the United states uses coal, oil and gas primarily for heating purposes, changing to solar energy can not only result in a cleaner environment but save money in the long run.
Taking heat from the sun is produced through solar energy panels installed on a building. This electricity is generated directly on the location it is set up for and does not require massive electrical power plant connections. The concept of production on location is called distribution generation saving on the costs of power line hookups and the drain on community resources. Furthermore solar panels will produce electricity during the daytime peak hours for consumer demand.
Peak hour overloads add a massive amount of stress and expense to power plants and consumer consumption bills. With more distribution generation facilities, power failures, caused by damaged lines during a natural disaster. Grid failures, and other complications, will not interrupt the daily function of businesses serviced by solar energy.

Both homeowners and businesses can use geothermal heat pumps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help in the quest for global warming solutions. These pumps are low maintenance needing few repairs. Even larger pumps for industrial use will take up very little land space.
The final renewable energy source in the quest to support global warming solutions is bioenergy. Bioenergy consists of electricity, liquid fluids and other gases that have being taken from biomass, such as crops, plants, animal matter (including wastes) to produce energy for heating, driving vehicles and more. We can obtain bioenergy directly from forests and other natural means or through development in industrial installations.
Corn crops are harvested and processed for ethanol that can be used in combination with existing fuel sources to run transportation vehicles. Biomass can be obtained through natural processes such as cow belches other digestive processes. Bioenergy can be used in combination with other sources such as electricity and fossil fuels to generate cleaner energy for operating and heating homes and buildings.
